Dehesa of the Canons rises along the Douro River near Pesquera, one of those simple buildings, rural court. Its appearance reflects the long history of an agricultural holding where the wine had more or less important depending on the social and economic context. Ships of more than 150 years, now restored, still retain the majestic arrangement of beams and adobe walls eighty centimeters thick, which is a great insulator to maintain proper temperature in the production and aging of wines.
