The entrepreneur Italo-Swiss origin Matossi founded the company in 1844 and started the liquor business. In the 50's by the company were three families: Baines, Ibáñez and García, who founded a society. At present the company is governed by the descendants of these three families and their activity is based on production pacharán, but also made anise and fruit liqueurs.
